Gronggu'23 - Oldies im Grünen

The songs of Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, the Stones or Beatles etc. are still not old 50 years on. Hearing them live from a good cover band makes the pleasure even greater. For example next July 7th at Rüematschbodu, where maybe some Woodstock atmosphere could arise...

On the green fields of Rüematschbodu above Erschmatt, we celebrate a reunion with many old friends from earlier years, a revival with songs from the 1960s/70s - played live by two bands. Garnish with dinner and everything you need for your physical well-being.

Start at 6:00 p.m. with the first band The Rusties and an aperitif, followed by the band New Band Project. Fine food provided and good drinks available. Dancing and hanging out together from the start until midnight.

New Band Project

Keyboardist Samy Schnyder, bassist René Imboden, drummer Charly Martig, Dominic Hugo as guitarist and frontman. The band plays songs by artists from A for Animals to Z for ZZ Top. In between, The Beatles, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Deep Purple, Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Pink Floyd, Polo Hofer, Rolling Stones, Status Quo, Stevie Ray Vaughan and many others.

The Rusties

The Rusties cover band kicks things off and sets the mood for the long evening. Silvio Schmidt vocals / guitar, Thomas Schnidrig guitar, Brian Imboden guitar, Michael Brantschen bass guitar and Emanuel Rotzer drums play rock and blues from the 1960s to current groups with heart and soul.
